About the Job

The Food Supervisor role is a key position in our food service team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food locations on client premises. This individual will work closely with management to coordinate routine work activities, ensure a safe working environment, and provide support to employees during the normal course of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Assist in ensuring a safe working environment, monitor employee productivity, and provide suggestions for increased service or productivity.
  • Employee Development: Responsible for the orientation and training of employees, as well as performing day-to-day assignments in addition to oversight duties.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution.
  • Team Development: Promote the development of the food service team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures, report all accidents and injuries promptly, and participate in regular safety meetings and training.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years related work experience in hospitality.
  • Skills: Ability to coordinate routine responsibilities, maintain a positive attitude, and communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Working Conditions

The Food Supervisor will work in a controlled, temperate environment, with varying schedules to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
