We are seeking a skilled Room Service Server to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
  • Answer questions on menu selections and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Record transactions in our system at time of order.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
  • Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage service role.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
