JOB DESCRIPTION

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Electrical and Instrumentation Technician who will be tasked with executing hands-on instrument evaluations, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming. This role also involves diagnosing control circuitry issues and providing support to the electrical and maintenance teams as required. We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious I&E Technician with strong mechanical skills to enhance our workforce. Competitive wage starting at $35+ per hour, with overtime opportunities, paid weekly, based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve instrument and control system malfunctions.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks and calibrations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and logs as necessary.
  • Install new control systems, including power wiring.
  • Set up cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers.
  • Service and replace motors and lighting fixtures.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-5 years of relevant plant experience and education preferred.
  • Training, degree, or certification in instrumentation and/or electrical fields is preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician License is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including day and night, as well as overtime as necessary.
