At Clean Harbors, we are committed to building a sustainable future. Our new incineration unit is in search of an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Supervisor to oversee critical operations. This role involves hands-on instrument inspections, calibrations, and PLC logic programming, ensuring our facility operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting of instrument and control failures, performing preventative maintenance checks and calibrations using manufacturer manuals and electronic testing tools.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of calibration checks.
  • Install new systems and controls, including power wiring and electrical components.
  • Oversee all aspects of the plant control system, including HC900 PLC, Wonderware Intouch HMI, and Wonderware Historian, encompassing programming, HMI graphics, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Install cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers, while performing general electrical maintenance work.
  • Adhere to safe working procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to meet the operational needs of Clean Harbors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Journeyman's License is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and electronic schematics, as well as process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of PLC ladder logic.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage on-call responsibilities.
  • Valid US Driver's License is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
