Job Title: Field Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers and local vendors, increasing customer satisfaction, and implementing new programs to become a trusted advisor for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic supply chain consultative business reviews to executive teams at customer locations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, including hotels, golf clubs, and restaurants, in a specified geographic area.
  • Build and maintain local supplier relationships.
  • Manage the process for new customer roll-out meetings, including customer/supplier conference calls, kick-off meetings, and follow-up process.
  • Analyze customer activity, satisfaction, and utilization of programs; identify non-participation and potential causes.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts assigned to you as the Account Manager.
  • Provide internal support to other Avendra teams.

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office/home office setting and requires customer meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; good presentation skills.
  • Ability to bring customer and supplier together to demonstrate Avendra value proposition.
  • Solid purchasing program, supply chain knowledge and/or hotel experience to be credible with customers and vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Overnight Travel Requirements:

Type: All modes of transportation, percentage 25-50%, length: 1-2 nights.

Years of Relevant Experience:

8-10 years of experience.

Education Requirements:

BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience.
