Key Responsibilities- Respond to patient inquiries and billing-related calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Update patient demographics and insurance information as needed.
- Enter necessary insurance data and re-file claims with insurance companies.
- Review patient accounts to determine outstanding balances and explain details.
- Process payments over the phone from patients and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Explain insurance company's explanation of benefits (EOB).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a high-volume call center.
- Proficient computer skills, including typing 30+ WPM.
- Knowledge of medical insurance processes, terminology, and explanation of benefits (EOB).
- Bilingual is a plus.
