Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to patient inquiries and billing-related calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Update patient demographics and insurance information as needed.
  • Enter necessary insurance data and re-file claims with insurance companies.
  • Review patient accounts to determine outstanding balances and explain details.
  • Process payments over the phone from patients and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Explain insurance company's explanation of benefits (EOB).
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a high-volume call center.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing 30+ WPM.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance processes, terminology, and explanation of benefits (EOB).
  • Bilingual is a plus.
