Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail processing while providing general office assistance as required.
  • Ensure all requests within the functional area are addressed promptly and accurately, adhering to established service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external partners to gather and disseminate information, streamline processes, and enhance the overall experience for policyholders.
  • Accurately prepare and submit any necessary regulatory reports associated with operational functions.
  • Maintain data integrity across source systems and ensure all documentation is accurately created and distributed to policyholders and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide reception, telephone, and desk coverage as necessary.
  • Participate in audit schedules conducted by internal or external partners, including the preparation of files and documents and responding to inquiries.
  • Engage in new system installations and upgrades that affect functional areas, which may involve developing business requirements, test cases, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate Degree or a minimum of 2 years of operational experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adept at navigating multiple system applications.
  • Preferred background in legal, claims, underwriting, accounting within P&C Insurance, or a medical setting.
  • Capable of evaluating and managing confidential information appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and follow-up abilities.
  • Flexibility to support the organizational mission of collaboration and efficiency.
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships across various departments.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills in processing tasks and resolving issues.
