Job Title: Operations Processing Specialist

MagMutual LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Processing Specialist to join our team in the Atlanta Office.

Job Summary:

The Operations Processing Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our designated department(s) by providing exceptional customer service, accurate document production, and timely communication to key parties. This role is essential to daily processing for all Operations as it relates to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, and provide general office support as needed.
  • Handle all requests from functional areas in a timely and accurate manner, meeting established service standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to obtain and provide information, improve processes, and enhance the policyholder's experience.
  • Create and submit regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain data integrity in source systems and ensure accurate documentation is created and distributed to policyholders and internal business partners.
  • Provide reception, phone, and desk coverage as needed.
  • Participate in audit schedules by internal or external partners, producing files, documents, and responding to questions.
  • May participate in new and upgrade installations for all systems that impact functional areas, including building business requirements, test cases, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Associate Degree or minimum of 2 years of operational experience.
  • 1-2 years of insurance or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems applications.
  • Preferred experience in legal, claim, underwriting, accounting with P&C Insurance, or medical environment.
  • Ability to evaluate and properly handle confidential information.
  • Ability to produce high-quality outcomes in a highly productive environment.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational, customer service, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment to support the MagMutual mission of 'working together' to get the job done.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within various departments.
  • Ability to use critical thinking in processing work and resolving problems.
