Job Title: Member Relationship Specialist

At Credit Union Texas, we are seeking a highly skilled Member Relationship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our members, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding service to internal and external members, consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Uncover member needs by asking questions and providing solutions to their financial needs.
  • Proactively discuss and refer additional products to internal partners.
  • Process requests for memberships, depository accounts, loans, and account maintenance services.
  • Regularly follow up with members to ensure their financial needs are met and uncover any additional needs they may have.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and service goals.
  • Remain up to date on current products, services, and marketing campaigns through attending training and staying familiar with all changes and disclosures.
  • Comply with all financial regulations, including BSA, OFAC, Reg CC, USA PATRIOT Act, and maintain confidentiality of member information and other sensitive information.
Requirements:
  • Goal-oriented and service-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated to meet required sales goals and have strong listening skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a consistently changing environment.
  • Team player with the ability to work well in a group setting.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 1-2 years or more of similar or related experience.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent talking and hearing, sitting, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands or arms. The employee will occasionally stand and walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.

Mental Activities and Requirements:

The ability to use common sense or logic, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
