Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring a radiation safety program to protect patients, personnel, and the public from unsafe radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement radiation safety protocols and policies to ensure accurate patient dosimetry.
  • Collaborate with dosimetrist and radiation oncologist to develop radiation therapy treatment plans.
  • Perform and monitor imaging equipment testing and calibration.
  • Develop and implement appropriate shielding designs, frequent surveys, and routine exposure monitoring.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the organization's radiation safety program and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Radiation Biology, or a related field.
  • Completed residency.
  • Board eligible with completion of board certification within 3 years or QMP.
