Job Title: Capital Markets Credit Officer II

As a Capital Markets Credit Officer II, you will play a critical part in evaluating and underwriting participation accounts, loan origination, and servicing.

About the Role:

This position involves:

  • Conducting thorough credit analysis and due diligence on financial participation packages and loan origination.
  • Developing and maintaining loan participation and correspondent banking relationships with other lenders.
  • Assisting in the development and closing of complex loans by analyzing and negotiating credits.
  • Interpreting and communicating district lending policies and procedures to associations.
  • Providing guidance on various legal, title, and other questions that may arise on loans.
  • Administering and developing lending programs, as well as revising operating procedures related to lending operations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in all facets of lending, including marketing, extension, administration, and analysis of commercial credit.
  • Experience in analyzing complex credits, negotiating, and dealing with commercial-type loans.
  • Knowledge of financial institutions, loan participations, credit relationships, and direct loans.
  • Excellent computer, interpersonal, public speaking, and communication skills.
  • A thorough knowledge of financial statement analysis, forecasting analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral analysis, and payment performance in mortgage and commercial lending.
