Capital Factory is seeking a highly skilled Investor Relations Associate to join our Ventures Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our network of active investors, facilitating introductions between founders and investors, and executing key Investor Relations programs.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with our network of active investors, including venture capitalists and angel investors.
- Facilitate introductions between founders and investors, ensuring that both parties are well-matched and have a clear understanding of each other's goals and expectations.
- Execute key Investor Relations programs, including Investor Office Hours, portfolio startup onboarding, and launch of new IR initiatives.
- Use Capital Factory's network of active investors and proprietary software tools to curate matches between investors and founders.
- Collaborate with the Ventures Team to develop and implement strategies to optimize and grow our programming opportunities across Texas.
- Experience with the startup and technology markets, including a basic understanding of startup funding terms, options, and mechanisms.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with investors, founders, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Availability to work at least 45 hours per week, with a commitment to staying in Texas for at least 2+ years.
