Our pay rates range from $35 to $50 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

This role involves leading, training, and mentoring a project crew, prioritizing and delegating tasks, communicating with tradespeople on site, and tracking project schedules to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a lead technical resource on assigned projects
  • Reporting on job status and performance
  • Controlling job costs
  • Developing and maintaining productive relationships with peers, customers, GCs, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring the use of PPE and safe behavior, including vehicle safety, by all employees
  • Ensuring compliance with installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety, time and attendance, etc.
  • Overseeing 3rd party resources, as needed
  • Directing and overseeing the work of other apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade program or technical school
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial building construction or a related industry/trade
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours
  • Ability to organize tasks and use good judgment in making work assignments
  • Ability to give clear instructions and guidance, as needed
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders, as needed
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety policies
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal laws
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Track record of punctuality and dependability
  • Ability to use computer tools, including email, word processing, and project planning software
  • Ability to manage time, delegate assignments, and follow through to ensure good results
