Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at Children's National. As a key member of our Cardiology Echo Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and research responsibilities related to echocardiography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms on complex patients with congenital heart disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Independently perform fetal echocardiograms in a timely fashion.
  • Utilize online and offline analysis systems effectively.
  • Strive for accuracy and check work consistently to maintain high-quality echocardiograms.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Minimum 3 years of prior cardiology experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 1 year of full-time dedicated pediatric experience in an echo laboratory directed by a board-certified pediatric cardiologist.
