About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Imaging Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Mobile Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography studies for patients in various service locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiography studies for patients in various service locations
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies
  • Consider the age-specific needs of the patient during exams
  • Collect required documentation and patient information
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
  • Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities
  • Process and review images for quality control
  • Transmit images and documentation to cardiologist
  • Maintain equipment and vehicle
  • Orient and train new staff if requested
  • Assist with administrative and customer support functions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, certification, and state license
  • Adult Cardiac Sonographer with an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program
  • ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation
  • Two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred
  • Ability to perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
