Agcmn is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Engineer Intern to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering who are eager to expand their knowledge and skills in a dynamic work environment.

As a Field Engineer Intern, you will be involved in various construction activities, including project scheduling, cost management, subcontractor coordination, safety protocols, formwork design, quality assurance, estimating, and resource management.

You will collaborate closely with seasoned Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents at Agcmn.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in leading the implementation of Agcmn's Safety Program to ensure safe construction practices and protect personnel.
  • Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in all operations through effective planning, document control, and field inspections.
  • Support construction management tasks by coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, addressing construction challenges, and aiding in engineering design.
  • Participate in monitoring the financial aspects of projects by tracking quantities, recording expenditures, and preparing cost reports.
  • Help foremen and superintendents with various construction tasks, including layout, elevation control, and crew coordination.
  • Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders by embodying Agcmn's Core Values.
  • Respond promptly to project issues to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in professional development through Agcmn University courses to enhance skills and competencies.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
A genuine interest in safety and construction practices.
Prior experience with construction software is a plus.
Familiarity with AGTEK/AutoCAD is preferred.
