Responsibilities:- Project Oversight: Oversee the review and permitting processes for our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Apply technical knowledge in the development of feasibility analyses for project specifications, ensuring that all stakeholder expectations are met.
- Design and Management: Take responsibility for alignments and profiles, geometrics, drainage, plan development, and construction estimates, with an eye on safety, scheduling, detail, and budget.
- Project Coordination: Track project progress, compiling technical reports, specifications, and calculations for internal and external parties.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain current project databases, and create secondary systems when necessary.
- Design and Documentation: Prepare plans, profiles, details, and specifications for all aspects of roadways, storm drainage, erosion and sediment control, sanitary sewers, water, and utilities.
- Project Management: Manage project documentation, including but not limited to contracts, development plans, construction specifications, design calculations, and schedules.
- Reporting and Compliance: Compile drainage/detention reports, SWPPP checklists, and other technical reports and documents for agency submittals.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee projects to ensure that organizational standards and safety guidelines are being upheld, and provide research and technical information to relevant management teams and project representatives.
- Communication: Communicate with project managers and operators to ensure that project specifications are being met, and maintain direct communication with clients and other project stakeholders.
- Financial Management: Track project budgets by analyzing all related costs, including labor and materials.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in site development. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in site development.
- Excellent skills with design software AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Microsoft 365 and Excel proficiency.
- Strong drafting abilities, with a focus on site layout and utility design.
- Professional certification, such as EIT.
- Working knowledge of current compliance regulations, with an eye on future legal changes.
- PE licensure (Highly preferred).
- Project management experience, with an emphasis on direct supervision.
