Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering tasks, including structural analysis, design, and detailing for a variety of projects, ranging from minor renovations to extensive new constructions.
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation and submission of documents and presentations to regulatory bodies, utilities, and planning authorities.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to document existing conditions and evaluate structural needs.
  • Review and finalize design calculations, and assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Support project planning and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure superior engineering results.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
  • Address technical challenges during construction by offering effective solutions to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate business growth by nurturing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, crafting proposals, and representing the firm in external engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in project leadership and design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory; Structural Engineer (SE) licensure is advantageous.
  • Expertise in various structural analysis software tools.
  • Thorough understanding and application of local building codes and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software is essential.
