Overview:

The Tom Day Company LLC is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Management Specialist to oversee the organization and execution of our construction initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and subcontractor proposals are meticulously managed from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project bids and budgets using Excel and AIA formats.
  • Prepare and submit project draw and payment applications.
  • Organize and maintain essential documents such as contracts, Certificates of Insurance, and subcontractor W9s.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
  • Draft comprehensive project estimates based on scope and duration.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to monitor and control project costs.
  • Provide guidance on contracts and subcontracts.
  • Oversee the construction schedule and associated activities.
  • Prepare and maintain agendas and minutes for weekly team meetings.
  • Foster strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers regarding accounting and billing.
  • Coordinate project efforts among architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in reviewing blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in managing vendor invoices and verifying pricing.
  • Ability to establish new project folders and maintain job expense records.
  • Responsible for managing office supplies and ensuring a well-stocked environment.
  • Compile and organize inspection reports from consulting parties.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction software such as Bluebeam and PlanGrid.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, negotiation, and cost control skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management capabilities.

Compensation:

  • Type: Full-time Employee
  • Salary Range: $24.50-$28/hour
  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience Requirements:
