Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of field staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform contract administration duties, including plan development, interpretation, budget management, schedule management, record keeping, change negotiations, quality, and project documentation.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Five or more years of experience in project management, contract administration, and construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, TxDOT specifications, and contract administration practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
