In this role, you will play a crucial part in communicating with clients and resolving inquiries related to our Newborn Screening and Genomics Programs. This position offers flexibility, allowing for remote, on-site, or hybrid work arrangements, along with competitive benefits and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 telephone support to external clients as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction, promptly addressing potential issues and escalating them as necessary.
  • Review laboratory reports and communicate non-critical findings to submitters and designated healthcare professionals, adhering to contractual agreements and time-sensitive requirements.
  • Maintain and update computer databases and statistical spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Client Services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma AND
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of previous customer service experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

The work environment may require flexibility in shifts, including weekends. While performing the duties of this position, employees may need to sit, use a keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
