Job Summary

Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain a high level of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality's brand standards.
  • Ensure regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's scheduling requirements.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality's policies, standards, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Be aware of all hotel rates, packages, and special promotions, as well as in-house groups and restricted dates.
  • Handle room reservations, check-ins, and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Be familiar with all hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to provide informed and helpful assistance to guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting colleagues in other areas of the hotel and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements

To be successful as a Front Desk Agent with Aimbridge Hospitality, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field, preferably with a focus on customer service.
  • A positive and upbeat personality, with a desire to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • The ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • A basic understanding of financial information and data, as well as basic arithmetic functions.
  • The ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos.
  • An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
