Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive global benefits programs and policies, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of global benefits initiatives to ensure they meet the company's strategic goals and budgetary constraints.
  • Drive significant enhancements in the efficiency and effectiveness of core processes to establish a sustainable global benefits framework.
  • Assess and refine the effectiveness of benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive, cost-efficient, and aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to inform employees about benefits programs and the value they provide.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of existing employee benefits across various regions to assess competitiveness and effectiveness.
  • Manage the daily administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, ensuring prompt and accurate resolutions.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and explore automation of payment methods where feasible.
  • Provide consultative support to employees and management regarding absence management, fostering a culture of connection and empathy.
  • Stay informed on legislative changes and industry trends affecting employee benefits to maintain compliance across all programs.
  • Assist third-party administrators and auditors with compliance testing and plan audits.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures and plan documentation.
  • Effectively manage and escalate complex cases as necessary, utilizing sound judgment.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of all information, safeguard company assets, report non-compliance, and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Progressive experience in benefits management; global experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing diverse cultural environments.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in benefits management, ideally within a multinational context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and standard practices in the Americas.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in data interpretation, trend identification, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in project management, vendor management, and successful implementation of benefits initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar credentials.
