Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing expenses, and ensuring the profitability of our practice. You will work closely with our Regional Director of Operations and Managing Doctor to develop and implement strategies that promote business growth, while protecting our practice legacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth through effective business development and marketing strategies
  • Manage expenses, including labor, facility, and supply costs
  • Develop and maintain salary schedules and job evaluations for all employees
  • Provide input on annual budget and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and laws
  • Establish and execute performance evaluations and internal operating procedures
  • Partner with the MDVM to ensure team members adhere to practice operating procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Ability to work on weekends when needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous management experience required; previous veterinary medicine experience preferred
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
  • Oversee OSHA safety techniques and use proper PPE
  • Computer skills, MS office applications, etc.
  • Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages
  • Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety
