Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant Residential Addictions Specialist at Seven Counties Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks, including personal care, vital sign collection, and medication administration.
Provide frequent rounding on clients and address/report client needs to LPN/RN as appropriate.
Maintain accurate inventory of medicines and medical supplies, and authorize drug refills as ordered by the medical provider.
Schedule outside medical appointments for clients as ordered by the medical provider, and obtain necessary medical information as requested.
Maintain current and accurate documentation, and transport clients to clinics and hospitals within walking distance of the facility as needed.

Requirements:

High School or GED required, with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or SRNA certification preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and medical providers.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
