Medical Assistant Residential Addictions Professional

Seven Counties Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Residential Addictions Professional to join our team. As a key member of our residential addictions program, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise self-administered client medication under the direct orders of a medical provider
• Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks
• Provide personal care as needed, including personal hygiene, toileting, laundry, meal preparation, and safe eating techniques
• Perform vital signs, height, and weight measurements for clients as directed by a licensed nurse
• Maintain accurate inventory of medicines and medical supplies
• Authorize drug refills as ordered by a medical provider and communicate with pharmacies as needed
• Schedule outside medical appointments for clients as directed by a medical provider
• Obtain necessary medical information as requested by a medical provider
• Maintain current and accurate documentation
• Transport clients to clinics and hospitals within walking distance of the facility as needed
• Administer First Aid and CPR as necessary
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or SRNA certification preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
