Job Title: Residential Treatment Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Treatment Assistant to join our team at Seven Counties Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our clients in a residential treatment setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks, including obtaining patient histories, performing metabolic profiles, and performing other tasks as assigned.
  • Obtain vital signs, height, and weight for clients on the inpatient unit as directed by the LPN/RN.
  • Provide frequent rounding on clients and address/report client needs to LPN/RN as appropriate.
  • Perform UDS/HCG testing adhering to CLIA standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
  • Under direct orders given by the medical provider, supervise self-administered client medication, or perform medication administration depending on the specific clinical program's protocols.
  • Schedule and monitor medication clinic appointments with medical providers in conjunction with the site business staff.
  • Authorize drug refills as ordered by the medical provider and telephones/faxes prescriptions to the pharmacy.
  • Schedule outside medical appointments for clients as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Responsible for obtaining necessary medical information as requested by the medical provider.
  • Responsible for maintaining current and accurate documentation.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory and licensure standards.

Requirements:

  • High School or GED.
  • One year working as a Medical Assistant in a licensed healthcare facility.
