Position Overview:
This executive role reports directly to the CEO and will lead the public relations team to ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.

The Senior Vice President of Communications Strategy will formulate strategic approaches for each client account, actively pursue new media opportunities, and manage crisis communication strategies effectively.

This leadership position will offer guidance, insights, and mentorship to the Directors of Communications, ensuring they receive dedicated support as they strategize for their respective clients.

Additionally, this role will involve collaboration with Account Managers and Publicity Specialists, as well as direct engagement with clients to guarantee satisfaction, service quality, and growth.

The Senior Vice President will also cultivate and strengthen relationships with media professionals, including writers, editors, journalists, news anchors, and producers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans for client accounts and identify growth opportunities.
- Mentor and manage the Directors of Communications, fostering high performance and professional growth.
- Conduct research and analyze trends in public relations and relevant industries.
- Provide crisis management support and strategic guidance to clients and account teams.
- Regularly assess client satisfaction through check-ins.
- Review and approve copywriting materials and oversee client reporting.
- Lead team meetings and client discussions as necessary.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the President of Prolific and industry experts to enhance team knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Communications, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of extensive experience in public relations and communications.
- Strong media connections, particularly in Non-Profit, Higher Education, Government, and Faith sectors are preferred.
