Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generating sales and profits through regular communication with current clients and potential customers
  • Organizing and providing necessary product documentation
  • Delivering product information to clients and promoting sales
  • Assessing customer requests and providing accurate quotations
  • Processing customer orders efficiently
  • Encouraging the use of the proprietary vendor-managed inventory system

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial customer service role
  • Strong attention to detail in utilizing software and monitoring task completion
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accountability in problem-solving and initiative in resolving customer issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn company-specific database systems
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Knowledge of fastener standards is advantageous
