Job Title: Agricultural Credit Coordinator

Compeer Financial is seeking a collaborative and innovative professional to join our team as an Agricultural Credit Coordinator. This role is responsible for analyzing financial information, completing loan servicing requests, and providing ongoing support to our Credit Underwriters and Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate financial analysis of client financial information submitted through our OnBase work queue.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and best practices for consistent analysis of financial information.
  • Input and review financial and credit-related information, compiling data reports and performing credit support.
  • Analyze cash-based balance sheets and earnings statements, completing accrual reconciliation of earnings information when applicable.
  • Pull credit bureau, lien searches, and other information to assist in the credit analysis process.
  • Complete financial analysis for FSA guaranteed loans as applicable.
  • Coordinate credit and loan portfolio administration support, including monitoring past dues, document exceptions, collateral value monitoring, and covenant compliance.
  • Monitor exception reports and work with the Credit Underwriting team to update applicable systems to ensure data integrity.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in agricultural economics, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Exposure to agricultural credit, finance, accounting, or other related experience.
  • Knowledge of core agricultural crop and livestock industries and production practices, organization loan products, services, and credit operations.
  • Understanding of credit processing and servicing activities, accounting principles and practices, credit analysis procedures, credit administration, and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
  • Sound listening, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
