About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Selling & Merchandise Lead to join our team at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth by developing the selling skills and behaviors of our sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently greet customers and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and achieve sales goals.
  • Train and coach sales associates on selling behaviors, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with store management to organize marketing and promotional campaigns, and to coordinate staff schedules and activities.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain sales-floor standards, including replenishment and presentation, general appearance and cleanliness of the department.
  • Participate and support in training for new company programs, procedures, and technologies.
  • Consistently model and coach the selling behaviors to meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Adhere to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures; maintain knowledge of all Health and Safety protocols and Emergency procedures to ensure the safety of our associates and customers alike.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4 year degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of successfully supervising a sales workforce and achieving results.
  • Ability to drive sales and service, establish and maintain client relationships, and complete operational tasks.
  • Ability to train and coach sales associates on selling behaviors to ensure high performance.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
