POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Supervisor plays a crucial role in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations, which include delivering exceptional customer experiences and maximizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieving Results:
  • Establishes and communicates clear expectations, holding the store team accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Oversees essential operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, as well as merchandise flow processes.
  • Supervises team members engaged in sales, inventory management, cash reconciliation, and customer service, ensuring proper floor coverage within budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintains high standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as assigned by management.
  • Develops a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve assigned sales and productivity targets.
  • Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about products both online and in-store.
  • Assists with product fulfillment and sales techniques.
Building Effective Teams:
  • Inspires and motivates the store team, promoting a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
  • Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Communicates effectively with store teams and management to lead positive changes.
  • Seeks personal development opportunities and actively solicits feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Enhancing Customer Experience:
  • Models, teaches, and promotes exceptional customer service principles, ensuring a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Demonstrates sales expectations by utilizing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; recommends merchandise based on customer needs.
  • Builds and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Guarantees a smooth and efficient checkout experience, staying updated on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • Ensures consistent client communication through customer engagement initiatives.
Talent Development:
  • Supports and implements training programs and seminars.
  • Assists in the development of store associates; interprets performance reports and provides coaching as necessary.
  • Drives team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or sales management preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Able to adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Knowledge of store operations and administrative tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Constant walking/standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent climbing during the shift.
