POSITION OVERVIEW (Job Summary):


Wolverine Proctor and Century Extrusion, operating under the Process Solutions business unit of CPM, have a presence in various regions including the UK, Europe, the USA, and China.

We specialize in the development and manufacturing of thermal equipment, including dryers, roasters, and ovens for the Wolverine Proctor brand, as well as extruders, twin screw extruders, compounding systems, and spare parts for the Century Extrusion brand.

This role is focused on supporting thermal products and extrusion.

As a member of the global sales support team, the Proposal Engineer will collaborate within a team selling framework, working closely with Sales Managers and Technical Sales Managers to craft customer proposals that emphasize technical process solutions while also managing cost base information.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Your function:
Collaborating with the sales team to define proposal scope
Assisting in the preparation of written proposals and calculation sheets
Creating process flow diagrams and equipment layout drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical and Microsoft Visio
Prioritizing tasks in conjunction with the commercial and operational teams
Collecting project costs and collaborating with supply chain and procurement for cost analysis
Conducting risk assessments, including financial and hazard evaluations
Gathering detailed equipment reference drawings and ROI calculation sheets for proposals
Performing various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection
Generating SAP quotations and purchase requisitions in accordance with established procedures

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree

A degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for extended periods in a standard office setting.
Capability to reach in various directions.

Finger dexterity is necessary for tasks such as typing on a keyboard.

Effective communication skills are required.
Ability to move around the workspace.
Capacity to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office presence on designated days.
