Night Shift Opportunity

Welcome patients and guests to our Health System grounds, and assist with their needs to ensure they reach their desired destinations. This role requires addressing questions, providing information, and maintaining confidentiality while ensuring a positive experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and guests appropriately, providing necessary information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Transport patients safely, ensuring equipment is clean and in good repair, and using proper transfer and transport techniques.
  • Manage the work area, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Collaborate with the Patient Experience Office to provide exceptional services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • No experience required.
  • Virginia Driver's License (VADL) preferred.
Physical Demands:

This role requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent driving, traveling, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills are necessary, as well as attention to detail and the ability to write legibly. The ability to lift/push/pull objects over 200lbs is also required. Seasonal exposure to weather elements and potential exposure to fumes, noise, outdoor climate, chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease are possible.
