Job Description:

The Aviator Events Center and Pub is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet our menu demands.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and sanitary manner, meeting all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Cost Control: Manage our food costs, ensuring that we are able to maintain a profitable menu.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with our events and restaurant teams to ensure that our menu items are well-received by our customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 6 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of kitchen staff.
  • Culinary Skills: Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to design and implement new menu items.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with our events and restaurant teams.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, with frequent lifting and bending.
