POSITION SUMMARY:

Kforce Inc. is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Accounts Payable Clerk will oversee the management of accounts payable through various accounting software and systems.
  • Responsible for processing accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors.
  • Evaluate and improve workflow processes for efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing vendors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and payroll, in compliance with departmental protocols.
  • Process invoices for payment in a timely manner.
  • Conduct comparisons of purchase orders, pricing, payment terms, and additional charges.
  • Handle transaction processing and perform essential accounting functions such as account maintenance, entry recording, and account reconciliation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic skills in data entry.
  • Comfortable with mathematical calculations.
  • Strong listening and communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
