Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation.
  • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other construction management to safely meet budget and timeline.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
  • Create schedules for site workers and subcontractors.
  • Hire, train, manage, and assign worksite labor accordingly.
  • Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary.
  • Make changes in the operation as necessary to meet construction deadlines safely.
  • Implement management techniques that drive safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Civil grading and underground utilities/site construction and supervision experience.
  • Ability to read civil drawings, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Bid2Win.
  • Knowledge of efficiently moving dirt and production of underground utilities.
