Position Summary: As a key member of the Kansas Department of Revenue, this role serves customers through front counter help desk and call center support for Driver License, Driver Solutions, and Medical Vision programs. The Business Support Unit serves as subject matter experts for KanLicense, performing driver-related activities in accordance with Kansas Statutes and Kansas Department of Revenue Policy. This unit is the primary contact center for all system process questions regarding KanLicense.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in interviewing, investigating, or providing technical assistance to clients, customers, or the public, and two years of experience or education in auditing or accounting support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Preferred Experience: One year of experience in customer service or general office and one year of experience in a call/contact center. The ideal candidate would have excellent proofreading and editing skills along with good attention to details. In addition, hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: KBI and FBI fingerprinting required due to involvement in the application/issuance process for KS Driver's License and/or KS ID Card.
