Field Service Technician

About the Role:
The Field Service Technician at Home Depot U.S.A., INC. will maintain a fleet of rental equipment by conducting routine visits to stores and customer job sites within their market. This position requires performing maintenance and repairs on light rental construction equipment, with an emphasis on preventive maintenance.
This role involves training Home Depot store associates and customers in the proper operation of equipment and adhering to all safety requirements particular to equipment. The technician must also maintain accurate parts inventory, fleet inventory, and vehicle compliance to company, federal, and driver standards of performance.
Key Responsibilities:

- Performs maintenance and repairs on light rental construction equipment.
- Conducts routine visits to stores and customer job sites within their market.
- Responds to service calls and orders parts needed for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Utilizes company technology platform to document all work performed on equipment.
Travel Requirements:
- This position typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- This role requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
