Job Description

The successful candidate for this role will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of developing opportunities and managing them effectively through the sales process to closure. A strong business acumen focused on creating value and return on investment, along with a deep understanding of the market opportunity in the HPC storage and/or Enterprise HPC storage market, is essential.

This individual will be responsible for developing sales and revenue growth opportunities within the United States, primarily on the West Coast. Key objectives include new account development, growth of existing VDURA customers within the energy market in the Americas, and identification of new customer opportunities to drive adoption of VDURA offerings within the West Coast Americas.

To achieve these goals, the successful candidate will work closely with Sales Engineering colleagues to gain a deeper understanding of customer and prospective customer technical challenges and requirements, positioning VDURA solutions effectively to drive revenue and market share.

  • New account development as well as growth of existing VDURA customers within the energy market in the Americas
  • Develop sales strategies and close working relationships with HPC OEM's and reseller/channel partners that sell into the energy market
  • Achieve both quarterly and annual sales targets
Requirements
  • 10+ years of successful professional sales experience, handling objections, and properly positioning products to drive revenue growth
  • 10+ years of successful HPC storage, storage software, or enterprise HPC storage experience in the energy market
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • Strong operational and teamwork skills, as well as innovative problem-solving skills
