About Us:

The Intelligent Systems Division specializes in creating automated solutions for both commercial and governmental sectors across various fields such as transportation, manufacturing robotics, medical diagnostics, and communication standards.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the Robotics Department by developing innovative technologies and solutions in industrial robotics and automation to address real-world challenges faced by clients.
  • Engage in mechanical design, control systems, and hardware integration for industrial robots, collaborative robots, and automation control systems. Collaborate with a team of leading experts in the field.
  • Identify new applications, industries, and clientele for advanced automation technologies.
  • Work primarily at designated facilities; however, meetings and deployment activities may take place at client locations.

Daily Tasks:
  • Effectively communicate with internal teams, external clients, and industry collaborators.
  • Design, construct, troubleshoot, and implement robotic and automation systems utilizing mechanical, electrical, and software engineering skills.
  • Align individual performance objectives with organizational goals.
  • Assist in drafting proposals and estimating costs. Engage with clients to foster new business opportunities and define technical specifications.
  • Focus on mechanical design aspects.


Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
  • 1-5 years of experience: BS candidates should possess relevant academic research or internship experience. MS and PhD candidates must have completed graduate-level work related to robotics.
  • Proficient software skills; experience with C++ or Python is preferred.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) is preferred; operational or research experience is necessary for undergraduate candidates.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.


Additional Requirements:

The selected applicant will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
