The Intelligent Systems Division is dedicated to creating automated solutions for a variety of clients in both commercial and governmental sectors, focusing on areas such as transportation, manufacturing robotics, medical diagnostics, and communication standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the Robotics Department by developing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in industrial robotics and automation that address real-world challenges.
- Engage in mechanical design, control systems, and hardware integration for industrial robots, collaborative robots, and automation control systems, collaborating with leading experts in the field.
- Identify new applications, industries, and clientele for innovative automation technologies.
- Work primarily at designated facilities, with potential meetings and deployment efforts at client locations.

Daily Duties:
- Effectively communicate with internal teams, external clients, and industry partners.
- Design, construct, troubleshoot, and implement robotic and automation solutions utilizing mechanical, electrical, and software expertise.
- Align individual performance objectives with organizational goals.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and cost assessments, interacting with clients to foster new business opportunities and define technical requirements.
- Emphasize mechanical design in project execution.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
- 1-5 years of experience: Candidates with a BS should possess relevant academic research or internship experience, while MS and PhD candidates should have completed graduate work in robotics.
- Proficient software skills, particularly in C++ or Python.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) is preferred; operational or research experience is necessary for undergraduate candidates.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
The selected applicant will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
