Landmark Property Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and personable full-time Property Management Assistant to support the daily operations of a bustling leasing office. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and possess prior leasing experience. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, and results-driven, with at least two years of leasing experience preferred, along with management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the overall management of the apartment community.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
- Conduct apartment tours and manage leasing inquiries.
- Collect rent and manage delinquent accounts under the guidance of the Property Manager.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including resident ledgers and cash receipts.
- Ensure compliance with all budgets and Fair Housing Laws.
- Prepare and process leases and related documentation.
- Handle move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals efficiently.
- Promote apartment rentals and manage marketing efforts.
- Perform clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and report writing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of leasing experience.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and accounting practices.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents.
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
Working Environment:
This position requires a high degree of mobility, including frequent inspections and employee supervision. Physical tasks may include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching. The Assistant Property Manager must be able to effectively communicate with team members, residents, and vendors while ensuring a safe and well-maintained community.
