Amergis Educational Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of educational professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with communication disorders, empowering them to reach their full potential.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth. You will then collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Your expertise will guide therapy sessions, fostering improved communication skills in articulation, fluency, voice, expressive language, and receptive language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students' communication abilities to determine eligibility for services and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure seamless integration of therapy into the student's educational plan.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific communication challenges and promote student progress.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student assessments, progress, and interventions, adhering to all relevant ethical and legal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and communication disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
