The Role:We're looking for a motivated data center technician to help maintain a large fleet of servers and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center HVAC, electrical systems, and troubleshooting server and network equipment. Proficiency in racking equipment and neat cabling practices is essential. Part of this role will focus on coordinating installations and repairs on-site with external vendors, so strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
Key Responsibilities:Electrical Work- Working on switchboards and switchgear
- Maintaining diesel generators
- Managing power distribution
- Servicing UPS / uninterruptible power supplies
- Working with cooling towers, chillers, CRAC, CRAH, CDU, dry coolers, and liquid cooling
- Operating under ASHRAE standards
- Racking and stacking
- Cabling
- Troubleshooting hardware issues
- Strong preference for experience as a licensed electrician and/or working in industrial HVAC
- Military experience working in a role supporting critical environments is highly valued
- Experience working in a data center on the facilities side, including power and cooling infrastructure, as opposed to technology
- Location: Little Rock, AR
- Occasional travel (quarterly)
- Top of market compensation dependent on experience
