Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group sessions with students as prescribed by their individual behavior plans.
  • Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress.
  • Assist in the development of behavior management strategies and reinforcement plans.
  • Provide consistent and structured support to students to ensure adherence to behavior intervention plans.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Follow ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Modify behavior intervention strategies as needed based on data and student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other school staff.
  • Support and implement strategies for crisis intervention when necessary.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Arkansas licensure requirements.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and behavior challenges.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data accurately.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to behavior management.
  • Ability to walk or run at a quick pace.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
