Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in RF/Microwave Test Engineering and proven leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will assume the role of RF Test Engineering Associate Manager, contributing to our mission at Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team dedicated to the design, replication, and maintenance of specialized automated test equipment (ATE) systems for digital, RF, and microwave technologies.
  • Collaborate with top-tier RF and microwave design experts across various Lockheed Martin locations.
  • Provide innovative technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives at the Chelmsford site.
  • Balance the development of new testing equipment with the demands of production capacity and existing equipment.
  • Act as the primary representative for Test Engineering, both internally and externally.
  • Support employee development and growth, ensuring optimal performance and career advancement.

Chelmsford, MA, located approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the development and support of automated test equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams effectively.
  • Experience managing project costs, schedules, and technical aspects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in leading engineering personnel.
  • Familiarity with the Product Development Process.
  • Expertise in Production Processes.
  • Proficiency with RF/microwave testing equipment.
  • Experience in Cost Account Management.
  • Ability to nurture organizational talent through coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Experience in circuit card design and hybrid/microwave microelectronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with military contracting environments.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Work Environment:
This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports various work schedules that provide flexibility to employees, including condensed workweeks.
