Role Summary:

Associate Manager of RF Test Engineering.

Location:
Chelmsford, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a team responsible for the design, replication, and maintenance of specialized automated test equipment (ATE) systems for digital, RF, and microwave technologies.
  • Collaborating with top-tier RF and microwave design engineers across various Lockheed Martin locations.
  • Providing innovative technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
  • Championing continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Chelmsford facility.
  • Balancing the development of new testing equipment with the need to maintain production capabilities.
  • Acting as the primary representative for Test Engineering both internally and externally.
  • Supporting employee development and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

Security Requirements:
Candidates must complete a government security investigation and meet the necessary criteria for accessing classified information.

A secret clearance is required, and candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Desired Skills:

A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred. Experience in leading engineering teams, proficiency in product development and production processes, and familiarity with RF/microwave testing equipment are highly valued. Candidates should also have experience in cost account management and talent development through coaching and performance evaluations.

Work Environment:
