Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a skilled Facility Technician to join our team in the Lynn area.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete all work orders, routine and emergency maintenance for assigned buildings and manage electronic work order systems.
- Perform hands-on repairs, including light carpentry and general repairs, at assigned locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of all assigned buildings, adhering to maintenance policies and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in special building projects as directed by the supervisor.
- Be part of a 10-week rotation on-call schedule for night and weekend emergencies.
- Minimum three years of experience in the trades.
- General Contractor's license preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Expert-level skills in construction methods, project management, and hands-on repairs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant trade school education.
