Facility Technician Job Description

Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a skilled Facility Technician to join our team in the Lynn area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete all work orders, routine and emergency maintenance for assigned buildings and manage electronic work order systems.
  • Perform hands-on repairs, including light carpentry and general repairs, at assigned locations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of all assigned buildings, adhering to maintenance policies and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in special building projects as directed by the supervisor.
  • Be part of a 10-week rotation on-call schedule for night and weekend emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in the trades.
  • General Contractor's license preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expert-level skills in construction methods, project management, and hands-on repairs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant trade school education.
