Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Rehab Specialist

At LewisGale Medical Center, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our nurses. We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Rehab to join our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a 35-bed Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including family, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language pathology, case management, and physicians
- Conduct daily interdisciplinary rounds and participate in shared governance councils
- Gain experience with neurological diagnoses, such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, spinal disorders, and others
- Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and promoting independence

Requirements:
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
